Sue Lomax – Franchise Partner

Sue is a Red Rooster legend. She has been with the brand pretty much from the beginning! Starting as an assistant with Red Rooster corporate in 1977, she worked her way up through the ranks for almost four decades. She then moved to the front line and became a franchisee and currently owns two very busy restaurants in Orange and Dubbo in NSW employing around 50 locals including school kids.

Sue’s passion is to serve Red Rooster’s delicious roast chicken to the local communities – with a focus on customer service, convenience and taste.

“Over the years, Red Rooster’s roast chicken has had a very important place in the homes and families of Australia – including my own. The unmistakable taste is what always makes Red Rooster a special meal… definitely a favourite with mums for something quick, yummy, affordable and convenient. Plus, knowing that a lot of thought, love and care has gone into the food you’re serving your family is why people keep coming back for more.”

Sue’s other passion is serving the community. As a dedicated local philanthropist and the former president of the Dubbo Rotary Club she has helped numerous charities and causes. These include Royal Flying Doctors, Make A Wish, Dubbo Hospital, Dubbo RSL and the local swimming, netball and soccer clubs as well as the Chumkriel Learning Centre in Cambodia, Rotary Exchange and cyclone relief in Vanuatu.

In her ‘spare’ time, Sue (pictured with her husband David) likes to travel and spend time with her grandchildren.

Dimi Cumner – Franchise Partner

Dimi Cumner is a Red Rooster veteran who has been in the business for over 30 years. Currently the franchisee for the restaurants in Coburg and East Reservoir in Victoria, Dimi started as a teen behind the counter!

In 2016, she entered the Red Rooster Hall of Fame for her years of dedication and service to the brand and her customers. A much loved and valued franchise partner, Dimi currently employs over 50 locals and is truly dedicated to her local area. She is always keen to give back to her community – especially its youth. Dimi proactively supports local community initiatives including sports sponsorships and teams.  In fact, they love Dimi so much in Victoria that they have named the Red Rooster Training Centre down there after her!

“Over the years I have watched the Red Rooster brand grow and evolve- there have been changes and challenges but what I’ve learnt from my life with Reds is that it’s all about the food and the customer. Aussies love our roast chicken and depend on us to deliver good quality food and great service every time. That connection to our customers is what has kept me excited and dedicated to Reds for all these years. ”
