It’s a new era for Red Rooster with modern restaurant designs and a comprehensive refurbishment program. The now established online ordering platform and dynamic small store formats with a focus on delivery are showing exponential growth for our restaurants, alongside our customer loyalty rewards program and innovative product developments.
Modernising an Iconic Aussie Brand
Message from the CEO Nick Keenan
I am extremely proud to have joined such a talented team of Franchisee Partners, Restaurant Teams and Support Centre Staff. We have an exciting journey ahead as we lay the foundations to pursue our goals with talented people, enviable scale and a great product. With operations and a Red Rooster network that has hospitality at its heart we have an enormous opportunity to realise significant and sustainable growth within the targeted 3-Year time frame.
Our mission is clear:
“Become the number one Chicken QSR in Australia, delivered through excellent Franchisee Partners, Talented People and the creation of market leading Chicken Experiences that are simple, delicious and fun.”
Online Ordering & Delivery
It was a service that Australians had been waiting for: as soon as Red Rooster launched an online ordering and delivery platform, restaurants across the country saw a lift in sales. And as a bonus, the introduction of Red Rooster Delivery cars has increased awareness and demand.
The success of the Red Rooster Delivery Service has led to major developments in shopfront formats in suburban and urban locations where a large format restaurant is not required.
The small format is approx 80-120 sqm, has seating for 4-20 people with the main focus on takeaway and delivery. This franchisee and real estate strategy is designed to offer lower capital investment for franchisees; strong return on capital from franchisees; a stronger payback period and strong market position for Red Rooster.
Big & Bold
With bold and dynamic new store design Red Rooster Drive Thru restaurants are going to stop traffic!
Drive Thru restaurants are the predominant footprint in the Red Rooster network of 360 restaurants.
We continue to look for opportunities in growth corridors - in 2017 we opened Pimpama in QLD and in 2018 Craigieburn in VIC - and are looking at key locations in Western Sydney.
